Minnesota's water resources are our State's treasures, and it is up to each of us to do our part to keep them clean and healthy.

Take a moment or two to browse these pages and learn a little more about how our every day actions, from proper lawn & pet care to raking up leaves and keeping trash where it belongs - can go a long way toward keeping our lakes, rivers and wetlands clean and healthy for generations to come.

Most importantly: remember that streets connect to streams! Stormdrains pipe storm water (and the trash, leaves, grass clippings, pet waste and cigarette butts!) directly to your nearest water body - untreated! So please - don't feed the stormdrain!
